TypeScript — Advanced features of the type system

TypeScript comes with its own kind of meta-programming language that allows you to dynamically “program” your own types. This enables type-safe descriptions of even the most complex (JavaScript) code structures.

In this talk, I will present some of the concepts and features of this meta-language through live coding. With practical examples you will see how you can use them in real-world scenarios and how your applications (and your colleagues) can benefit from them!

For this session you should bring basic knowledge of TypeScript and definitely a desire for unconventional and unusual ideas when it comes to working with a type system.
